THE SALON SETUP GUIDE
Build your
working rhythm.
Begin with tooth spacing.
A wide-tooth comb gives tangles more room; begin gently at the ends and work through small sections without pulling. A fine tail helps make deliberate parts. A pick’s long parallel teeth suit lifting, while the dual-tooth comb moves between fine and medium spacing. Choose by function rather than expecting one shape to do every task.
Choose coverage, then check the size.
The short shoulder cape offers a compact footprint. Full cutting capes cover a larger area; a sleeved shape has its own silhouette. Clear material or a viewing panel changes visibility, not the need to check dimensions. Compare the full laid-flat measurements and listed neck range with your requirements.
Keep heat at a distance.
Do not place combs or capes on hot tools, and do not use a cape as heat protection. Inspect teeth, seams and closures before use. Stop using a damaged item. These accessories are not safety equipment or a guarantee against every salon chemical.
Clean. Dry. Reset.
Rinse combs gently and dry before storing. Clean capes with cool water and mild detergent, then air dry fully. Avoid harsh abrasion and high heat. Follow applicable professional salon hygiene requirements separately; basic product care is not a claim of sterilization or disinfection.
